Whether it is spring, summer, fall or winter, daytime, night time, indoors or outdoors, a quick midweek break or a weekend family break, we’ll have a fun activity for your family. There is pay and display parking at the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art. We have lockers available (£1/£2) and buggies are welcomed as are baby carriers. For the Academy Building and Modern Two, please use the back entrance. Children are also welcome in all our gallery cafés.Īccess for buggies and wheelchairs is available at the main entrances of the Scottish National Gallery, Scottish National Portrait Gallery and Modern One. Princes Street Gardens, next to the National, is also a great place for a picnic. Food and drinkįor the safety of the artworks, eating and drinking in the galleries is not allowed. The grounds of Modern One and Two also make a perfect picnic spot.
